a Change at Red Rock ecoAdventures

The focus of this website and blog going forward will be describing adventures in the area of West Parry Sound and the Georgian Bay Biosphere. There is so much to explore and enjoy it is not at all obvious what to do, where to start and what it might involve. That's where Red Rock ecoAdventures hopes to provide information and advice.

It will take time to build content at the site. Doing it properly not only requires writing and publishing the information, it more importantly requires doing it, getting out and exploring. At this point we have experience with a number of adventures that are waiting to be written up. And we are looking forward to getting out and discovering more.

The site will grow with time, and hopefully it will be a resource for locals and visitors to discover the area by exploring it.

It has been a very strange winter in the Parry Sound area. Here's a mid-February view of the sun setting over the Big Sound as seen from the North Shore Rugged Trail.
