Fabulous Weekend in the Biosphere

It looks as summer has really arrived; warm and sunny. The Beagle took advantage of the weather and the clam water to head out for a couple of trips this weekend. Saturday was dedicated to the South Channel and the Massasauga Provincial Park (Wreck Island and Winnett Island). Sunday saw an adventure out to Little McCoy Island, about 30 miles (50 k) from Parry Sound.

Well the Beagle can confirm that there are numerous unmarked shoals in the Georgian Bay Biosphere. She discovered a couple of them. Nothing too serious, but a reminder that we need to keep our eyes open. But that's the risk of heading out Beyond the Big Sound into the less charted areas.

The rewards far exceed the risks.
